Volunteer in Kenya
Program fees cover the following:

Pre-departure support and orientation
-
Lodging in Kenya (either hotel or apartment)
-
Transportation from and back to the Kisumu airport
-
Transportation to and from the project site
-
In-country support and project related expenses.
Program fees do not cover the following, but Willow Tree Roots can provide assistance and guidance in helping you obtain the following:

Airfare to and from Kenya

Excursions and tourist activities
-
Travel or medical insurance
-
Visa and passport fees
-
Immunizations, malaria pills and other medical fees.
Volunteers can chose their own length of stay starting with one week. The program fee is due no less than 30 days prior to project start date.
Willow Tree Roots is a tax exempt organization in the U.S. and as such is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. All donations and program fees paid to Willow Tree Roots is tax deductible for U.S. taxpayers. Any funds raised by you from another organization or individual to cover the program fee is tax deductible by that organization or individual.
