Impact Kenya

In Kisumu, Kenya where our Willow Tree Roots Kenya project is located HIV rates are over 18%, making it the second highest HIV prevalence in the country. Our Women’s Socioeconomic Empowerment Project endeavors to reduce the prevalence of HIV and the stigma that surrounds it by economically empowering effected women into entrepreneurship.

Impact Peru

Our Women’s Socioeconomic Empowerment Project in Peru trains women in poverty who are vulnerable and susceptible to abuse and discrimination. They learn traditional Andean kitting and sewing skills, along with the business skills necessary to run a successful business. The program has had significant impact on the lives of women participants in Peru.
